Acer platanoides 'Warmia'
Tree characterized by exceptionally narrow, columnar habit. The crown is slimmer than in the 'Columnare' cultivar. Growth rate typical of the species, after ten years of cultivation the tree reaches 7-8 m in height. It creates a strong lead with short, raised side branches. Palmate leaves on long, thin petioles, with pronounced 5-7 flaps and several sharp pointed teeth, dark green, yellow in autumn.
Tree with no special requirements, tolerates most soils with the exception of extremely dry soils or wetlands. Prefers sunny to semi-shady locations. Resistant to frost (zone 4), tolerates difficult urban conditions.The variety is recommended for gardens with limited space, where there is no space for large trees, for estate greenery and for avenue and street trees.
