GREEN IS LIFE 2026: THE HEART OF THE GREEN BUSINESS
The 33rd edition of the Green is Life trade fair is now a key meeting point for the nursery industry. The slogan “THE HEART OF THE GREEN BUSINESS” is more than a declaration — it accurately describes what the fair represents today: a place where key market processes converge, with plants as their starting point and the foundation of every investment in greenery. In a time of growing environmental challenges, the role of plants and responsible decision-making in green investments becomes increasingly critical.
“Green is Life” is a marketplace in action, bringing together producers, buyers, designers, and green space professionals from Poland and across Europe. Here, the past season is reviewed, new contracts are established, plant novelties are presented, purchasing decisions are made, and professional relationships are built.
Plants, innovation and the future of green investments
As Joanna Filipczak, director of the Green is Life fair, emphasizes:
We see the growing importance of greenery — at its core are always plants and informed decisions regarding their selection. The Polish Nurserymen Association understands this well and responds with concrete action.
The strongest confirmation of this approach is the high level of nursery participation. In 2026, over 130 plant producers will take part in the fair, including 80 members of the Polish Nurserymen Association. This reflects both the strength of the market and the growing responsibility of producers for its development.
The scale of the event directly translates to its significance. “Green is Life” showcases the industry’s offerings and influences market development as well as the way green spaces are shaped in both public and private areas.
New trends and solutions for the green sector
The 2026 edition, open to new forms of collaboration, will once again host media and industry representatives from Poland and abroad. The presence of international guests, the development of the Green System, which links the program with exhibitors’ offerings — and promotional activities targeting new audiences all reinforce the event’s reach and significance.
Initiatives supporting market development also remain a key element of the fair — the Plant Novelties Competition as a platform for variety premieres, and the new Green Laurel competition, recognizing proven and innovative solutions for the industry.
This year’s fair confirms that the industry is growing stronger, more integrated, and more conscious in shaping its future.
