The Polish horticultural industry, represented by leading producers of ornamental plants at the IPM Essen 2025 trade fair, is once again proving its presence and position on the international stage. The joint stand, prepared by the Polish Nurserymen Association (ZSzP) and the Agencja Promocji Zieleni, will present unique and extremely diverse plant material that combines biodiversity with high quality, modern breeding solutions and a sustainable approach to production.
A wide range of products – the future foundation of the horticultural sector
Polish ornamental plant nurseries have been offering a wide range of products for years – both in terms of species and varieties. The plants presented at the fair at a common stand are not only popular species, but also new, unique varieties that have been bred in response to changing climatic conditions and market needs. Their richness promotes biodiversity in the design of private and public areas.
The joint stand of nurserymen at IPM Essen is an excellent opportunity to present the possibilities of Polish nursery. These plants are a response to global trends that increasingly emphasize native, local plants, are easy to care for and adapted to urban infrastructure. The innovation used by nurseries combined with care for the ecosystem creates products with high market value.
The vanguard of Polish nursery industry – the Polish Nurserymen Association as the industry leader
The Polish Nurserymen Association (ZSzP) stands behind this dynamic development, an organization associating the most active producers who focus on quality, modern technologies and development. ZSzP plays a key role in shaping the Polish nursery industry, offering its members not only access to knowledge and experience, but also a platform for cooperation with international markets. ZSzP members are entrepreneurs who implement innovative production methods, such as technologies related to organic farming, precise fertilization or rational use of water resources.
Thanks to the activity and commitment of the Association, producers not only promote their products at the largest gardening fairs in Poland and abroad, but also share the latest achievements in the field of plant cultivation, breeding and protection. They also appreciate the role of direct contact in building a green business and getting to know the plant offer. Hence the reason the Association has organized the GREEN IS LIFE International Trade Fair of Plants, Horticultural Technology and Landscape Architecture for over thirty years. Its 32nd edition will take place on September 4-6, 2025 in Warsaw (an attractive first minute offer is valid until January 30, 2025 – details at the ZSzP stand).

For both the Polish Nurserymen Association and the ornamental plant producers themselves, the presence at the IPM Essen fair is a confirmation of the dynamic development of Polish horticulture and its growing presence in international markets. The Polish Nurserymen Association and its members are becoming ambassadors of Polish nursery industry and at the same time an example of how to combine tradition with modernity in plant production. They are synonymous with quality, innovation and ecological responsibility, characteristics that win the hearts of customers in Europe and around the world.
As part of the representation of Polish companies at the IPM 2025 trade fair, the Association and five associated nurseries are presenting themselves at a stand under the auspices of the Polish Nurserymen Association. POLISH NURSERYMEN ASSOCIATION
An organization associating the most active nurseries in Poland – 127 companies for which the quality of the ornamental and fruit plants produced, trees, shrubs and perennials, is a signpost of production. These are companies with various production profiles, a diverse species composition of the plants offered and a rich assortment in terms of size – from propagation material for further production, through young plants in multi-pallets and P9 pots, to adult material in containers and dug from the ground. ZSzP nurseries offer a full range of woody plants, shrubs and perennials for public, institutional greenery and home gardens.

For those looking for new and reliable information about plants in the form of traditional book publications, this year we are presenting the Catalogue of Proven Plants, published for the first time in English, which can be viewed and ordered at the ZSzP stand. Also at the stand, we will help you find producers of typical, most common species and varieties, as well as rare, collectible taxa. The 2025 Nursery Catalog will be distributed, presenting basic information about each associated nursery, the types of plants produced, as well as the size of farms and contact details. During the IPM Essen 2025 trade fair, the nursery will primarily present new varieties of clematis bred by Szczepan Marczyński. The new varieties of Clematis Integrifolia deserve special attention – long-blooming, do not require supports and are easy to grow. The exhibition will feature clematis and garden climbers of the highest quality (both young plants and plants ready for sale). There will also be fruit and ornamental shrubs as well as perennials and grasses sold under the MoreThan brand (Flowers, Fruits, Leaves). The offer is addressed mainly to nurseries, garden shops and retail chains. The company has been participating in the IPM ESSEN trade fair since 2005.

The nursery specializes in the production of coniferous and deciduous material both in the ground and in containers. We produce adult coniferous material in the ground and in containers, deciduous plants in containers and avenue trees in the ground and in containers, as well as coniferous seedlings for further production. One of the advantages of the nursery is its unique location, between Warsaw and Łódź (in the very center of Poland) and at the highest point of western Mazovia (210 m above sea level), which favors the production of hardened plants resistant to difficult weather conditions.
